I gave up on 1and1. I was simply trying to set up BigTree to learn how to use it. But I've decided to make life easier and built a new Linux web server on a Fedora 19 box with Apache, PHP, and MySQL set up.
My problem is, I can't puzzle out what directory BigTree is referencing when it tells me "Please make the current working directory writable.".
I've checked all the places I can think of and everything seems to be set up correctly, permissions-wise.
I've looked at the install.php script and it's over my head.
On which directory should I be modifying permissions?
Sorry for asking a noob question.

The directory that install.php is in needs to be writable. If that directory is writable by the web server then I'm sadly not sure why that error is showing

Yeah, I double checked that. I'll try to keep going with the install and see what happens.

Stupid me. It's selinux. I've been using Redhat and Fedora for 14 years now and I seem to always get tripped up by selinux.
