Conditional Cascading Module Form Design

Is there any way in the current module design framework to build conditional cascading form elements? For example if a particular choice is selected in a dropdown another field can be shown or hidden.

Re: Conditional Cascading Module Form Design

The only way to go about this would be to create a custom field type that encompasses all the fields and does the hide/show logic. You can see an example of that in the Events extension -- it has an included field type that handles all the time-based portions of an event.

Ironically, this is something another one of the BigTree devs mentioned really loving about the WordPress Advanced Custom Fields plugin, so it'll probably make it into a future release. I don't think I have the bandwidth to make it a 4.3 feature, sadly. Maybe 4.4!
