Install results in "Too many redirects..." error

I recently downloaded and installed BigTree on bluehost.  After a few issues with PHP version, the install seemed to run fine.  However, when trying to open the main site, i either get a blank page or I get a Failed to open page error with a message, "Safari can't open the page.  Too many redirects occurred trying to open https://www.[mysite].com/~[mysite]/~[mysite]/~[mysite]/~[mysite]/~[mysite]/~[mysite]/~[mysite]/~[mysite]...

Any ideas?

[Edit]  I reinstalled with routing set to "Basic" and it all seems to work.

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you! It's possible that in the advanced / htaccess routing modes the .htaccess file in the root directory is causing redirect issues. If you have access to the vhost configuration setting the DocumentRoot to the /site/ directory should fix that. I haven't actually tried Bluehost before so that's my best guess!
